"Awesome work..."

This Flash animation really touched me. It showed what really happens with domestic violence yet you accomplished this without glorifying violence itself. Instead of going right to the "good parts", you showed all the events that led up to the climax of the story and gave it much more depth than your average Newgrounds movie. The music was also a very nice touch. It worked very well with the Flash and right at the end, when the son takes matters into his own hands, that was one of the most powerful moments I've ever seen on this site. After watching "No Remorse", and then this, I feel that you are a very talented Flash artist and I really look forward to any more work you plan on submitting to Newgrounds in the future.

Like I said, the Flash isn't very long but it's very stylish. I especially like how there's no dialogue in the animation and the way that everything that happens in it is shown by the character's actions. The protagonist of the story doesn't just show up at the school and start killing people either. You showed the character's personal transgression instead of just jumping to the violence like all the other submissions on Newgrounds do. This looks like the start of something that could very well become a classic series on Newgrounds, assuming you make the right moves and submit more of your work. I know I'll be looking forward to more. Good job!

"Interesting, but the ending was disappointing..."

I rather enjoy how suspenseful this Flash animation was but I was a bit let down by the ending. All the foreshadowing of more violence to come really led up to nothing, and the ending was almost entirely irrelevant to the rest of the Flash. This animation really doesn't have any violence in it, but it is instead implied by showing the aftereffects of whatever the hell happened. I like the animation style though. Everything seemed a little crooked and I'm not sure if it was intentional or not but it helped give your animation a very surreal appearance, thereby adding to its appeal. This Flash wasn't bad but I was very let down by the ending. If you were to actually wrap it up with something that does the rest of the Flash justice, then I'd probably give you a 5.

Yeah, this cartoon is hilarious. It might be offensive to some but I think the humour far outweighs the possibility of someone getting offended. This is great work for a first time submitter and I, as well as many other reviewers, as you can see from all the reviews you actually got, would love to see a sequel or something else that you've made. Oh, by the way, I totally agree with the last guy. That part where that bunny thing loses his arm? Priceless...

Yeah, this is what every Flash animation should be like. This series is great... It's a totally original concept and you've pulled it off very well. It's also kinda cool how you can make these John's Arm episodes so funny without resorting to obscenities or offensive remarks. This cartoon is definitely better than half the stuff on this site. Man, I can't wait for Episode 3...

This Flash animation is a wonderful piece of work. It's nice to see something on Newgrounds that actually has some thought behind it. A lot of the stuff you see on this site is full of mindless violence... But this animation is far from mindless. I love how you showed all the events leading up to the climax of the story, and showed all the boy's inner frustrations instead of just jumping right ahead to the bloody finale... Building it up so the ending was all the more dramatic. I really enjoyed this Flash and I would like to see more of your work in the future. Peace.

Y'know, I really love all the cartoons in the Neurotically Yours series. It's amazing how you can use only one scene per animation, stick in all that dialogue, and still have the animation be more entertaining than half the stuff on this site. I just read some of the reviews and I just don't understand why some people would give this Flash a low rating just because you use one nicely drawn background as opposed to sixteen crappy ones and still manage to get all those Portal awards. Anyways, I'm just saying, I love your style and if whoever is reading this right now does too, visit www.illwillpress.com. Tons of other stuff from this guy. Great stuff. Keep it up! ;)

You say this is your first Flash film. This is an exceptional piece of work. You should be very proud of yourself... The images used in this Flash animation were relatively simplistic, yet they are so powerful... The sharp contrasts between what was supposed to be and what actually happened made this piece all the more dramatic. I really enjoy the way you put this together and I look forward to any more submissions you may make in the future.

That was one of the most beautiful works of Flash I have ever seen. Not because the animation is elaborately drawn but because of the message that you're trying to get through to people. You have managed to convey this message wonderfully, using simple images to communicate that life is meant to be lived to the fullest. I applaud your artistry and I look forward to more work from you in the future.
